10 Year Celebration!
We had a rock-n-roll time at our 10 Year Celebration. Thank you to all that could make it! We had over 150 people including past and present families join us. Thank you to all that helped run different activities and set-up for the event. We appreciate your help! Thank you to all families that brought a dish to the event as well. We had a great spread.
Parent Committee
Our next Parent Committee Training will be held on February 9th, 2010 at 5:30-7:00. The training titled "Terrific Transitions" will focus on how we as parents can help kids move to each activity throughout the day. If your kids have melt downs moving out of the door in the morning or refuse to go to bed at night then this training might be helpful to gain new ideas to use with them. "Terrific Transitions" will be presented by The Providence Center. Child Care, dinner, and raffle prize will be available this evening. We hope to see you there!
Spaghetti and Meatball Mingle
When: Thursday FEBRUARY 18th, 2010 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Held at The Salvation Army Child Care on 20 Minor Street Providence, RI.
Cost: $5.00 per family
Guardians and Siblings are invited to attend our winter celebration entitled "Spaghetti and Meatball Mingle". Tickets cost $5 per family. (Immediate Family Only Please)
A spaghetti dinner with meatballs, salad, and bread will be provided for those that attend. We will be raffling off BASKETS filled with goodies. Baskets include themes such as Movie Night, Game Night, Sweet Tooth, Car Care and more! Each family ticket will recieve one chance in the raffle. Additional Raffle Tickets can be bought on the evening of the event for $1 each. Procedes of this event will go toward buying new playground equipment for our program.
Children's Museum
Our families can borrow our Children's Museum pass anytime. Just ask Elayne or Missy and if it's not checked out you can use it! Just a little perk for being a Beautiful Beginnings family.
